October happenings at your Chapter
Keep your eyes on your e-mail for a monthly newsletter also very soon we will be having an online raffle and hope the membership and any guest will support us with this new fundraiser. We have started a new Facebook Group IWLA Washington County and to join and see on a regular basis what is going on click on the Facebook symbol at the bottom of each page and ask to join the group. You might be asked for your range badge number. We have a new policy all new applicants will need a sponsor that will vouch for you and attend your first meeting. We ask that each member regardless of your interest or capabilities get active in YOUR Club. Remember this is a volunteer organization and we need your help. We ask that you get involved in the Chapter and attend a General Membership meeting to understand what we have going on and how important it is that the members become active in all of the events throughout the year. To be honest if we don’t have several members step up soon certain events and ranges could be discontinued. We have several large projects coming up over the next few months. Black light 5 stand is off and running stop by and give it a try. Check the calendar for dates and times.
Sporting Clays going strong stop by and give it a try, watch the Club Calendar we shoot every other Sunday starting at 8:00 am first event March 22, 2026. By far the best course in the area.
Still Target has Super Shoots on the first and third Sunday right now we have a 4 event Championship going on. Also, the second and fourth Friday is our meat shoot.
Weekly 5 Stand still operating continually at 4:00 pm.
Youth Firearms 22’s first and third Monday at 6:00 pm.
Youth Archery League has started every Tuesday night at 6:00 pm for 3rd through 12 th grade students.
3 D Archery every Thursday night starting at 6:00 pm. Indoors at this time.
Black powder events flintlock and ball and cap only.
