April Updates

The first five months have been busy time.  Sporting Clays is off and running, Traditional Archery has moved outdoors our Still Target events are doing well.  We are taking nominations for officer’s at the June meeting with the election held in August.  We have started a new Facebook Group and to join and see on a regular basis what is going on click on the Facebook symbol at the bottom of each page and ask to join the group.  You might be asked for your range badge number.  Also starting May 1, 2024 all new applicants will need a sponsor that will vouch for you and attend your first meeting.  We ask that each member regardless of your interest or capabilities get active in YOUR Club.  Remember this is a volunteer organization and we need your help.  We ask that you get involved in the Chapter and attend a General Membership meeting to understand what we have going on and how important it is that the members become active in all of the events throughout the year.  To be honest if we don’t have several members step up soon certain events and ranges could be discontinued.  We have several large projects coming up over the next few months.  Check the Calendar on a regular basis.  If you have any questions or concerns, please call me at 301-991-8793.
